About your listener
Welcome to The Listening Lounge, a confidential, judgment-free space created for adults seeking a safe place to talk, decompress, process everyday stress, or simply be heard. Based in Northampton, Pennsylvania, and serving clients virtually, I am here to offer genuine presence and an attentive ear whenever life feels overwhelming.

Why I created The Listening Lounge
For as long as I can remember, complete strangers have felt naturally comfortable sitting down and confiding in me without being asked. I have always been the person people turn to when they need to lend an ear. Experiencing how rare and powerful it is to truly allow people to feel heard inspired me to build The Listening Lounge—a virtual sanctuary where you can share your thoughts, vent, and unload life's weight without fear of judgment.

The conversational vibe and personality
Conversations with me are warm, calming, grounded, bubbly, and direct. I provide a relaxed and supportive environment where you do not need to filter your thoughts or hold back. Whether you want to talk through relationship challenges, vent about work stress, navigate a tough life transition, or simply organize your racing thoughts, you will find an attentive and authentic space with zero pressure or pretense.

Background and professional experience
My career has given me the opportunity to work closely with individuals across diverse backgrounds and circumstances, strengthening my ability to remain patient, communicate clearly, and meet people exactly where they are. As a Medical Assistant and Care Coordinator working alongside trauma, general, and bariatric surgeons and their patients, I learned firsthand how vital it is to listen attentively when people are navigating stress, fear, frustration, and uncertainty.
Additionally, my work supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)—including nonverbal individuals and those facing behavioral challenges—taught me that listening is not always about hearing spoken words. It is about patience, paying attention to nuance, respecting varied forms of communication, and recognizing every person's inherent need to feel valued and understood.
"It’s completely normal to feel nervous about sharing your thoughts — especially with someone new. My role isn’t to judge, fix, or analyze; it’s simply to listen. You can take your time, speak at your own pace, and share only what feels comfortable. This space is yours — quiet, safe, and free of expectations. Sometimes, just being heard is the first step toward feeling lighter."
