Frequently asked questions

Taking the first step to share what is on your mind should feel comfortable, secure, and clear. Here are answers to common questions about confidentiality, session flow, and how our virtual listening conversations differ from traditional clinical care.

A question about your products or services

It’s completely normal to feel a little unsure before booking a Listening Lounge session. Most first‑time clients share a few common concerns:

1. “Is what I share truly private?” Yes. This is one of the biggest worries people have. Sessions are private, non‑clinical, and never recorded. Nothing you say is analyzed, diagnosed, or shared. You’re speaking in a confidential, judgment‑free space where your words stay between us.

2. “Do I have to talk about something deeply personal?” Not at all. Many clients worry they’ll be expected to open up more than they’re ready for. You choose what you share — whether it’s something small, something heavy, or simply how your week has felt. There’s no pressure to “go deep” or reveal anything you’re not comfortable with.

3. “What if I feel awkward or don’t know what to say?” This is incredibly common. You don’t need to prepare or have a perfect starting point. I guide gently, you speak at your own pace, and silence is never treated as a problem. The session is designed to feel natural, calm, and easy.

Do you offer additional help?

Yes — but in a gentle, non‑clinical way. After your session, you’ll receive a brief follow‑up message with optional reflection prompts or grounding reminders. These are simple, supportive notes meant to help you process what you shared, not therapy, advice, or action plans.

You’re also welcome to book another session anytime you need more space to talk. There are no requirements, no programs to enroll in, and no pressure to commit to anything long‑term. Just human support when you want it.

Do you offer outside referrals for services?

Yes — when it’s helpful and appropriate. Listening Lounge sessions are non‑clinical and non‑advisory, but sometimes a client’s stress or overwhelm is connected to practical life needs rather than emotional ones. In those cases, I can gently point you toward outside services that may lighten your load.

These may include:

  • Lawn care or home maintenance services if household tasks are adding pressure

  • Hairdressing or personal care providers when you’re craving a reset or confidence boost

  • Life‑organizing or decluttering resources if your space feels chaotic or hard to manage

  • Licensed therapists or counseling services when you need professional mental‑health support

  • Community or crisis resources if your situation requires immediate or specialized care

Referrals are never automatic or forced. They’re simply offered when your needs fall outside what a listening session is designed to provide — ensuring you always have access to the right kind of support.

Ready to clear your mind?
